Defect
No filtered water emerges from
the fitting and cartridge
Screw connection loose
Milky / white water when the

Reason
Water supply or other shut-off
valves are closed
Filter cartridge is incorrectly
fitted in filter housing
a) defective washer
b) screw connection not tight

small white bubbles/cloudiness

Correction
Check shut-off valves and if
necessary, open them
Reinstall the BWT Quick &
Clean filter system in ac-
cordance with point 6.0 or
install the filter cartridge again
(see Fig. VI). Check installation
of system and cartridge.
a) Replace washer
b) Tighten screw connections
After the system has been
running for a short time, the
cloudiness disappears.
Replace filter cartridge in
accordance with point 8.2.
