11.2.4. DEW POINT

The dew point contact can be connected at the installer's choice to:

The dew point function is activated via the configuration of a digital input (address 18 or 19) or via Modbus
(address 258).
The "dew point" active contact blocks the cooling mode of the thermostat.
When the dew point is active, its symbol is automatically visible in the screen's footer if it has been selected.

11.3. HOT AND COLD CONTROL TYPE

The thermostat has a PI or discrete controller to regulate the heating and cooling demand. The adjusted
variable is delivered by the outputs.

11.3.1. PI CONTROL

The response time of the PI control is determined by parameters Xp and Tn. Depending on the proportional
band, the control variable reacts instantaneously to a deviation while the integral part reacts only with the
time of action. The result of the control variable is output as pulses at the outputs.

11.3.2. 2-POINT CONTROL

If the value falls below the setpoint minus half the hysteresis value, the heating output is activated. If the
value exceeds the setpoint plus the hysteresis threshold, the output is deactivated. The opposite applies for
the cold mode.
