RCD Test
If several measurements are carried out, in-
terrupted only by „short" breaks, the internal
overtemperature protection of TELARIS
0100 is triggered and the symbol for
overtemperature (18) appears on the dis-
play. The next RCD test can only be started,
once the instrument has cooled down and
after the symbol (18) has gone out. Instru-
ment damage will therefore be avoided.
Measurement results can be saved by press-
ing key „Store" (26).
If the condition of a faulty socket is to be
saved, first press „Start" key (25). After the
acoustic „error signal" press „Store" key (26).
5.5.1
Result of RCD Test ta, UB /RE
Contact voltage UB and ground resistance RE are
measured during a preliminary test at a current of
1/3 I∆N. Contact voltage is extrapolated to nominal
error current I∆N.
After measurement, UB and RE are displayed
for 2 seconds. Within this time period, the
user is able to interrupt the RCD test by re-
peated pressing of the „Start" key (25) to
avoid an RCD response.
After completion of the preliminary test, the resid-
ual current circuit breaker test is continued at an I∆N
current (for time delayed RCDs at twice I∆N), and
after a waiting time of 30 seconds. Now the time
(max. 500ms) until the RCD trips is measured.

5.5.2
RCD Test Result I , UB / ta
Contact voltage is measured during a preliminary
test at a current of 1/3 I∆N. The RCD test is resumed
after a successful preliminary test ( at an error cur-
rent rising from 40% I∆N to maximum 140%). The
actual flowing current is displayed. Likewise the
time (max. 200ms) until the RCD trips is measured.
Contact voltage is converted to trip current.

6.0 Storing Measurement Data
After a successful measurement, it is possible to
save the measurement value by means of „Store"
key (26). Approximately 500 measurement values
can be saved. Proceed as follows:
" Carry out the measurement.
" Store measurement result by pressing „Store"
key (26).
" After successful storing a short signal is audi-
ble and the symbol „M" (16) is displayed. At the
same time the continuous memory address
number briefly appears.
In case of full memory and while pressing key
„Store", the symbol „M" blinks briefly and an
error signal can be heard
