Tank wall installation
NOTICE!
The installation location must ensure sufficient mixing in the area of the
measuring cell and remain significantly below the minimum level of the
cleaning solution even when the circulation is running.
The lateral bore of the measuring cell must be aligned vertically or up to a
maximum angle of 45°.
The distance between the measuring cell and unit must not exceed 20 m.
Tank wall installation using weld-on fitting according to DIN 11851
1.
Drill the tank wall at the designated location with a bore diameter 49 mm.
2.
Weld on the weld-on fitting properly.
NOTICE!
Failure to use appropriate materials for the connection between the tank
wall, welding electrode, weld-on fitting (material 1.4301) and for welding
seam post-treatment may result in corrosion on the weld seam.
3.
Insert the seal into the weld-on fitting.
4.
Insert the measuring cell with adapter into the armature from the outside and secure
it using the union nut.
5.
The alignment of the measuring hole can be checked using the arrow on the back of
the measuring cell.
Direct tank wall installation using union nut (on a straight tank wall)
1.
Drill the tank wall at the designated location with a bore diameter 21 mm.
2.
Place a flat seal then insert the measuring cell into the bore from the inside of the
tank.
3.
Secure the measuring cell using the union nut with seal.
