2.1
General safety advice
CAUTION!
Do not operate the device if you feel drowsy, are physically unwell, or under
the influence of drugs / alcohol / medication, etc.
CAUTION!
Use is permitted only by trained personnel.
The LMI03 must be operated only by personnel trained in its use,
under observance of PPE requirements and these operating instructions.
Unauthorised persons must be denied access using appropriate measures.
We strongly recommend using an access code to protect the device.
DANGER!
If you believe that the unit can no longer be operated safely, you must
decommission it immediately and secure it so that it cannot be used
inadvertently.
This applies:
– if the unit shows visible signs of damage,
– if the unit no longer appears to be operational,
– after prolonged periods of storage under unfavourable conditions.
The following instructions must always be observed:
– Prior to carrying out any work on electric parts, switch off the power supply
and secure the system against being switched back on again.
– Safety regulations and prescribed protective clothing when handling
chemicals should be followed.
– Attention must be paid to the information included on the product data
sheet of the metering medium used.
– The unit must only be operated with the supply and control voltage
specified in the Technical Data section.

This LMI03 is used for dosing cleaning agents in applications for the production and
processing of food.
The LMI03 was developed, designed and constructed for industrial and commercial use.
Private use is prohibited.
Any use that extends beyond or differs from the intended use is considered improper use.
