Setting up a Locomotive Manually
Locomotives not in the database can be set up manu-
ally. When doing this, various things must be specified,
for example, the address. The various points are
queried when setting up the locomotive.

Locomotive Functions
The respective current locomotive (shown in the
display) can be controlled using the control knob.
Changing the direction of travel is done by pressing on
the control knob.
Functions for the locomotive can be activated using the
function buttons. These buttons can be occupied by
more than one function in order to enable more than 8
functions. The additional functions occupying a button
are accessed in combination with the SHIFT button.

Configuring or Removing a Locomotive
Various individual settings on the locomotive decoder
or in the Mobile Station WLAN can be programmed in
this menu. They are:

- Name
- Address
- Symbol (for display in the Mobile Station)
- Functions
- Maximum and minimum speed
- Acceleration (Acc) and braking delay (Dec)
- Volume and sound functions (Vol)
- Number of speed levels (only DCC)
- Programming individual CVs (only DCC)
- Removing a locomotive (from the locomotive list)
- Resetting a locomotive (resetting the decoder)
Not all settings are possible on each decoder. For
example, on a decoder with coding switches the
address can only be changed on the coding switches.
Please also note here the instructions for the locomo-
tive or the decoder in question. During programming,
the locomotive can still be controlled using the control
knob so that the changed settings can be checked
immediately.
Note: Only the locomotive in question can be standing
on the track for programming of a locomotive decoder.
Other locomotives must be removed.
