Operation
Important Note:
When the model railroad is in operation, it cannot de-
termine whether the Mobile Station WLAN is always
connected. If the connection breaks, or if the Mobile
Station WLAN shuts off (for example due to run down
batteries), the operation on the layout continues. The
STOP button on the Mobile Station WLAN is then also
not functional.
Power On
Turn the Mobile Station WLAN on by pressing on the
STOP button (> 1 second).
Power Off
There are various ways to turn the Mobile Station
WLAN off:
– Press the STOP button (> 8 seconds)
– Press the buttons
(> 5 seconds)
– Press the buttons
(> 5 seconds)
Idle Mode
After several minutes without being operated the
Mobile Station WLAN goes to a dormant mode to
preserve the batteries. It can be „woken up" again by
pressing a button. The time until the dormant mode
ends can be set in the menu „MSW Settings – Preser-
ving Power".
The idle mode can be activated directly at any time by
turning the Mobile Station WLAN upside down. The
duration until this shutting off takes place can be set in
the menu „MSW Settings – Shutoff Time".
Configuration
When the Mobile Station WLAN is not connected to
a WLAN, it provides a WLAN on its own. Using this
WLAN, you can access the Mobile Station from a PC
or a Smartphone.
