As soon as a suitable temperature is reached,
steam and boiling water will exit the holes in the
sole of the iron 0 . Any impurities that may be
present are flushed out .
6) As soon as no more water/steam is emitted
from the sole of the iron 0, let go of the
"Self-clean" button 8 . Iron over a towel or old
piece of cloth a few times to dry the sole of the
iron 0 thoroughly .
7) Press the
TEMP 2 button repeatedly until
you hear a beep and the display 1 reads
"STdby" (Standby) in red letters .
8) Remove the power plug from the mains power
socket .
9) Allow the steam iron to cool down before
putting it away .
