Maintenance
To ensure smooth operation, we recommend that you have all the electronic
units serviced once a year by a specialist dealer. The specialist dealer will be happy
to provide you with information regarding a service contract. Otherwise, contact
ASSA ABLOY (Schweiz) AG. The staff there will put you in contact with a trained
partner who will be happy to contact you to discuss and offer a possible mainte-
nance contract. The customer is responsible for updating the firmware on his own
initiative. Problem-free operation of the product cannot be guaranteed if the
firmware is not updated. The most up-to-date firmware can be downloaded from

Clean the KESO products and accessories by wiping with a damp cloth or
antistatic cloth. Never use aggressive cleaning agents or silicone oil. This can
result in malfunctions. Only care products that do not contain corrosive constitu-
ents may be used.
Repairs or alterations to the KESO products and their accessories are not
permitted. Defective devices or cables must be
returned in their original packaging to ASSA ABLOY (Schweiz) AG or one of its
subsidiaries for repair.
ESD regulations
Electronic assemblies can be damaged by electrostatic discharge during installa-
tion and servicing. If electronic units are defective, they must no longer be used.
