Setting in operation
The following components must be connected before the system can be set in
operation:
· Mains adapter for the power supply and a
· KESO Reader or an APERIO™ Hub.
Further requirements
· KESO Integra net documentation, see Section 2.1 Applicable documents,
· KESO K-Service Version V4.71 and later, and a corresponding KESO management
software k-entry
®
license.
Authorisation mutations for k-entry
components are applied in the background via Ethernet (KESO K-Service).
Network settings
· KESO Integra Door Controller is based on a standard Ethernet computer network.
· The number of electronic units is limited by the number of IP addresses.
· Thanks to the use of the Ethernet, the distance between the KESO management
®
software k-entry
and the KESO Integra Door Controller is unlimited, in theory. It
is limited only by the network topography.
· The online electronic units are labelled in the KESO management software
k-entry
®
with an additional icon. This icon shows whether the electronic unit is
included in the network and whether the network connection is established.
· If the network fails, each KESO Integra electronic unit is still fully functional when
offline. In the offline state, a maximum of 1000 history entries are saved locally,
using the first in/first out method. As soon as the online connection has re-
sumed, the history data is forwarded immediately to the KESO K-Service and the
electronic units can be programmed online again and data can be read out.
· The KESO Integra electronic units can be programmed in offline and online mode
with the KESO programming device V3.
