UNPACKING THE SET
The set is delivered in cardboard packaging on a wooden base.
WARNING: THE PLASTIC HANDLES ARE NOT INTENDED
FOR SUSPENDING THE SET. DEVICE STABILITY IS ONLY
GUARANTEED ONLY FOR A MAXIMUM INCLINE OF 10°.
3.2
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The equipment is an automatic multi voltage set. It is delivered
ready to be connected to a 230V or 400V supply.
- Connect the primary cable (4x2.5 mm2 conductors) to a 3-
phase + ground socket. (If you need to use an extension ca-
ble refer to chapter 4 «INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE», para-
graph 4.3 «Recommendations for use»).
- Check that the fuse sizes correspond with the max. current
consumptions given on page 2.
- Connect your work site or workpiece to be cut to your
ground circuit as explained in the "SAFETY INSTRUC-
TIONS".
CAUTION: THIS EQUIPMENT DOES NOT COMPLY WITH IEC
61000-3-12. BEFORE CONNECTING TO ANY PUBLIC LOW-
VOLTAGE NETWORK THE INSTALLER OR USER OF THE
EQUIPMENT MUST CHECK TO ENSURE THE EQUIPMENT
MAY BE CONNECTED TO SUCH SYSTEM; SUCH CHECKS
MAY NECESSITATE CONSULTING WITH THE DISTRIBUTION
NETWORK OPERATOR.
CAUTION: THIS CLASS A EQUIPMENT IS NOT INTENDED
FOR USE IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS WHERE ELECTRICITY IS
SUPPLIED BY THE PUBLIC LOW-VOLTAGE NETWORK. EN-
SURING ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY AT SUCH
SITES MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE DUE TO CONDUCTED AND RA-
DIATED ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE (EMI).

IMPORTANT: ANY MODIFICATION TO THE AIR INLET CON-
NECTIONS OR THE PRESSURE VALVE/PIPE COMBINATION
MAY HAVE A NEGATIVE EFFECT ON CUTTING PERFOR-
MANCE!
WARNING: IT IS IMPORTANT TO DRAIN THE COMPRESSED
AIR FILTER TANK REGULARLY.
3.4
TORCH EQUIPMENT
Verify that the interchangeable torch parts match the work being
performed (cut / gouging) -> (see IEE CITORCH P40C or PT100).
