Flexible coupling
It is recommended to remove the flexible coupling for
inspection and reconditioning. However, this has to be
done only by technicians from Bosch. Contact customer
service to replace the flexible coupling.
1
!
Do not attempt to service the flexible coupling. Non-
compliance invalidate the warranty.
!
Improper servicing of the flexible coupling by un-
trained technicians could result in damage to the
fuel-injection pumps.

Adjusting the MGT tray
1. Dismount the fuel injection pump mounted on the
pump mounting bed.
2. Empty the test oil from the measuring glass tubes.
3. Remove the screws of the solenoid cover at the rear
of the MGT and pull out the cover.
4. Check if the drip pointers in the funnels are correctly
aligned to the cutouts in the tray. Else, oil collection
and measurement in the measuring glass tubes will
not be accurate.
5. If the alignment is not OK, press the actuator and
adjust the position of the solenoid.
6. Tighten the nut of the solenoid at the rear of the
MGT cabinet.
7. Loosen the screws at the rear of the MGT and adjust
