over the total working period.
Implement additional safety measures to protect the oper-
ator from the effects of vibration, such as servicing the
power tool and accessories, keeping their hands warm, and
organising workflows correctly.
Kickback stop
If there is a sudden kickback in the power tool,
e.g. jamming in a separating cut, the power
supply to the motor will be interrupted elec-
tronically. The kickback stop indicator(31)
then lights up. When kickback stop is activ-
ated, the status indicator (35) flashes red.
To restart the tool, set the on/off switch (5) / (9) to the "off"
position and then switch the power tool on again.
Restart protection
The restart protection feature prevents the power tool from
uncontrolled starting after the power supply to it has been
interrupted.

Speed preselection

Note: Individually adjustable speed presetting with up to 6 speed levels is only available when the Bluetooth
ergy Module GCY 42 (not included with the product as standard) is inserted.
In the default setting, 3 speed levels are preset. A special application (Bosch Toolbox App) can be used to program up to 6
speed levels.
If the number of speed levels is changed, the values of the individual levels are adjusted by default. In this case, the speed
level/mode indicator (33) lights up white. When a speed value is programmed individually, the speed level/mode indicator
(33) lights up blue at this speed level (i.e. not according to a default setting). The individual adaptation of speed levels is pos-

sible in steps of 200 min each. Observe the ascending logic of the steps (2 ≥ 1 / 3 ≥ 2 etc).
The information in the tables below describes the preset speeds (default settings) for each programmed number of levels.

The specified speed setting values depend on the rechargeable battery in use, the battery's state of charge and the tool's operating temperature.
You can use the button for speed preselection (32) to preselect the required speed, even during operation. The information in
the table below describes the recommended values for the default settings with 3 preset speed levels.

Impact shutdown
The integrated impact shutdown switches the power tool off
as soon as it hits the floor. The status indicator (35) then
flashes red. To restart the tool, set the on/off
