Reverse Gear Operation
Use the reverse gear only when it is necessary to move the tiller away
from an obstacle.
1.Check the area behind you and make sure it is clear of any obstacles.
2.Move the throttle to the SLOW position.
3.Make sure the main clutch lever is released. Move the shift lever to
the REVERSE position.
4.Raise the handlebar slightly and engage the main clutch lever.
Carefully walk the tiller backwards. Be prepared to release the main
clutch lever quickly.
5.Release the main clutch lever, lower the handlebar, and move the
shift lever out of the REVERSE position when done.
