6. INSTALLATION: BOTTOM COMPRESSOR MODELS
IMPORTANT: the appliances must be level with one another.
1 – Attach both units to each other at the front using the 5 plastic brackets to hold the units together
using two screws per bracket from opposite sides.
2 – Align the units so that the spacing between them is consistent. Note, in some cases, such as putting
a column beside a bottom-freezer model there will be a slight difference in depth (5mm (1/4")).
3 – Once the gap is consistent on all edges, secure the brackets. If the gap between the units is not
even, doors will not align properly.
Gap measurements vary according to the types of units installed. Please refer to the table
below for correct gap measurements.
