Faults
The fi lter does not become dark
steadily or fl ickers.
The reaction is slowed down.
Visibility is poor.
The welding helmet slips.
Cleaning and maintenance
Do not use any abrasive detergents to
clean the helmet casing
Never allow the UV fi lter
contact with water.
Clean the product with a soft and dry or
moistened cloth or clean it with a cloth
moistened with disinfectant.
Storage
Keep the device in a dry location and
out of the reach of children.

Cause
The viewing pane 1 is dirty or
defective.
The arc sensor 16 is not clear.
The welding current is too low.
The ambient temperature is too
low/high.
The sensitivity is too low.
The viewing pane 1 /rear lens
4 is dirty.
The protective fi lm on the rear lens
4 has not been removed.
The ambient light is not suffi cient.
The wrong darkening level has
been set.
The headband 5 is adjusted
incorrectly.

Clean the viewing pane or
replace it.
Clean the surface of the arc
sensor 16 .
Set the sensitivity to the max. level.
Only use the welding helmet at
temperatures between -5°C and
+55°C.
Adjust the sensitivity to a higher
level.
Clean the viewing pane 1 /rear
lens 4 .
Remove the protective fi lm.
Provide more light for the working
environment.
Re-set the darkening level.
Re-adjust the headband 5 and
make it tighter.

water. Devices that are no longer functional
