Wrap the pocket chainsaw around the tree trunk while maintaining
tension on it.

Walk backwards while letting the ropes slide through your hands.
Maintain the tension.
c.
Stop when you are outside the impact area of the falling tree.

Two people can work together to cut the tree trunk. Each person
stands at an angle away from the tree outside the impact area,
then alternate pulling their rope for each cut. Make sure to maintain
tension during this process until the tree falls.
5.
Once you've removed the main part of the tree you can remove the
remaining trunk. You may need to kneel when cutting a tree trunk at
ground level.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
1.
Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier to
control and will have fewer problems.
2.
Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace damaged or
worn components. Only use identical replacement parts when servicing.
3.
Maintain the tool' s labels and name plates. These carry important
information. If unreadable or missing, contact Princess Auto Ltd. for
replacements.
WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should repair the tool. An
improperly repaired tool may present a hazard to the user and/or others.
LUBRICATION
CAUTION! Wear gloves when handling the pocket chainsaw to prevent
the cutters from lacerating your hands.
Inspect and lubricate the tool when required. Only use light oil to lubricate the
tool. Other lubricants may not be suitable and could damage the tool or cause a
malfunction during use.
1.
Clean and dry the chain before applying oil.
2.
Clean and lubricate all moving parts with light oil.
