Lay the pocket chainsaw down on a flat surface. You may want to place a
protective cover on the surface to prevent the oil from soaking in.
4.
Apply oil to a rag or directly to the chain links.
5.
Hold the rag loosely and pull the chain through to spread the oil to both
sides of the chain. Be careful to avoid snagging the chain's cutters.
6.
Flex each link to spread the oil into the rivets.
7.
Wipe excess oil away with a dry rag.
8.
Coat areas that may rust with a light film of oil.
CLEANING
1.
Keep the tool handles or gripping surfaces clean and dry.
2.
Wipe the tool with a clean cloth and periodically blow out all areas with
compressed air. If compressed air is not available, use a brush to remove
dust from areas. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents to clean the tool.
These chemicals could seriously damage the housing.
3.
Dry the steel components and lubricate to prevent corrosion.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Visit a Princess Auto Ltd. location for a solution if the tool does not function
properly or parts are missing. If unable to do so, have a qualified technician
service the tool.
