INTRODUCTION
The pocket chain saw is ideal for cutting loose wood, tree branches and tree
trunks up to 18 in. in diameter. The bi-directional, high-carbon teeth (cutters)
cut into the wood when the chain is pulled in either direction.

WORK AREA

Operate in a safe work environment. Keep your work area clean, well-lit
and free of distractions. Place lights so you are not working in a shadow.

Keep anyone not wearing the appropriate safety equipment away from
the work area.

Store unused tools properly in a dry, safe and secure location to prevent
rust, damage or misuse.

Cutting a tree or tree branch requires awareness of your surroundings.
Before making a cut, check that a tree or cut tree limb will not strike a
power line, structure or other trees when falling. Also ensure there are no
people, animals or equipment in the area where the branch or tree will
land.
