1. Remove the locking ring in order to remove the hook and remove the pin to unscrew the load chain
from the hoist.
2. Remove the chain by running the hoist.
Assembling
WARNING Crushing Hazard
Use the Atlas Copco original load chain. Using an incorrect chain can damage the hoist and cause
wear and tear of the chain with a serious risk of bodily injury or death if the chain breaks.
Use Atlas Copco original load chain of special dimension only.

NOTICE Lubricate the Chain Before Use
The hoist must not be used without lubricating the chain. The load chain must be lubricated before use
since the chain is not properly lubricated for use upon delivery. Failure to lubricate will lead to greatly re-
duced lifetime of the chain.
Lubricate the chain before use.

1. Start with the dismantling procedure when replacing the load chain.
2. Remove the chain by running the hoist.
3. Attach the end link of the chain to the accompanying steel wire and pull the link chain into the chain
casing, by means of the steel wire.
Make sure that the first link is flat in relation to the chain wheel and that the subsequent standing
links have the weld facing outwards from the centre of the chain wheel.
