The safety edge is checked during every closing movement: after the pre-end-
limit switch has been actuated, the safety edge has to be actuated within 2
seconds (positive testing).
Safety edge with 8,2 kW closing resistance without checking
Safety edge with 8,2 kΩ closing resistance with checking
The safety edge is checked during every closing movement: after the pre-end-
limit switch has been actuated, the safety edge has to be actuated within 6
seconds (positive testing).

Note
In the case of pneumatic safety edges (testing) a pre-end-limit switch must
always be connected.
These settings are only possible if the plug-in
evaluator for safety edges is plugged in.
For safety reasons pneumatic safety edges are
checked at the end of every downward move-
ment.
