Operating Instructions
General
The control is a high-quality product with many features and advantages:
• Aerial integrated in power cable
• Easy to connect
• Easy handling and multiple features
• Automatic detection of end positions
• Defined buttons for UP, STOP and DOWN on the housing and optionally on the hand
transmitter
• Modular system; insert cards for radio and safety edge optionally available
• Yard light controlled via hand transmitter
• Display information on operating mode and possible faults
• Optoelectronic safety edge (OSE) can be connected without external evaluator
Please observe the operating instructions when installing and setting the equipment.
Intended use
The control is intended for controlling tubular drives in roller shutters which are equipped
with fixed stops in the limit stops or a cover on the winding shaft.
A safety edge mechanism is required for downward travel in self-locking mode.
Any other use is not permitted. If the controls are used for other purposes than those
specified above or if modifications which affect the safety of the system are carried
out, the manufacturer shall not accept liability for possible personal injuries, damages
or consequential damages.
Always observe these operating instructions during operation of the system and any
repair work. In the event of incorrect handling, the manufacturer shall not accept liabil-
ity for possible personal injuries, damages or consequential damages.
Warranty
The manufacturer will be released from all warranty and product liability obligations if
the customer modifies the equipment without prior approval from the manufacturer or
if the equipment is installed incorrectly and/or contrary to these installation instruc-
tions, by the customer or a third party.
Any further processing must comply with all current statutory and official regulations
governing manufacture and advice to customers, especially the EMC regulations.
