Safety edge system
Attention
The system must be equipped with a safety edge for automatic operating
mode. The safety edge evaluator must be mounted.
Please note that the main and ancillary closing edges are sufficiently secured
and the permitted safety edgeforces are not exceeded!
Dead man mode:
The door can only be controlled via conducted equipment (e.g. buttons). In
the DOWN direction the DOWN key has to be activated permanently. In the UP
direction the door moves automatically. Using the hand transmitter, the door
can only be driven in UP direction.
Safety edge mode "stop":
While the door closes the light barrier or safety edge is activated: the door
stops as soon as the safety edge is activated or the light barrier is interrupted.
No function in the UP direction. After encountering an obstacle, the door has
first to be driven UP, before it can be driven down again.
Safety edge mode "free travel":
While the door closes the light barrier or safety edge is activated: the door stops
and returns partially as soon as the safety edge is activated or the light barrier
is interrupted. No function in the UP direction.
Safety edge mode "up travel":
While the door closes the light barrier or safety edge is activated: the door stops
and moves to the upper end position as soon as the safety edge is activated or
the light barrier is interrupted. No function in the UP direction.
