3.2.5 Connection to toilet
Sololift+ CWC-3 should be used for a toilet with
horizontal outlet according to EN 33 or EN 37. The
toilet must use at least 6 litres per flush.
Connect the toilet via a 90 ° elbow and a ∅100 pipe
of maximum 50 cm to the flexible sleeve of the
Sololift+ CWC-3.
Note: The pipe from the toilet must have a fall of
minimum 3 %.
3.3 Connection in top cover
Cut off the stub end in the cover using a sharp knife
or a saw with fine teeth. The edges must be cut at
right angles to the hole to ensure a good fastening of
sleeve A. Remove rough edges.
Fig. 8
Secure sleeve A by means of the metal clip B.
3.4 Side connection
Remove the union nut and the blanking plate.
Fit the union nut and the gasket ring on the pipe.
Insert the pipe end into the tank and tighten the
union nut. Make sure that the entire circumference of
the gasket is in the connection. Tighten the union nut
to obtain tightness.
3.4.1 Connection of cabinet shower
Note: The top of the water trap of the cabinet shower
must be at least 130 mm above the bottom of the
Sololift+ CWC-3 tank.
Fit the inlet pipe from the cabinet shower to one of
the side connections.
It is advisable to install a strainer in the outlet grating
of the cabinet shower for collection of hair.
3.5 Connection of discharge pipe
The discharge pipe must be of a material suitable for
raw sewage and have an external diameter of 23, 25,
28 or 32 mm.
The non-return valve in the tank prevents backflow
from the discharge pipe.
It is advisable to use a minimum ∅25 discharge pipe.
Fit the discharge elbow C using clip B.
Adapt the discharge pipe, if necessary, using
reducer D.
It is advisable to fit a drain plug at the bottom of the
vertical pipe section for use in case of repair of the
discharge pipe.

3.6 Pipework
The following drawing shows the maximum length of
vertical and horizontal discharge pipes.
It is recommended that the first part of the discharge
pipe is vertical.
All horizontal pipes must have a fall:
Discharge pipe: Minimum 1 %.
Inlet pipes: Minimum 3 %.
If the discharge pipe is more than 10 metres long, a
pipe one size bigger must be used after 10 metres,
for instance a ∅28 pipe for the first 10 metres and
then ∅32.

The discharge pipe must be taken above the
backflow level (i.e. main sewer level). The pipework
from this point must be made with pipe sizes of at
least ∅40.
4. Start-up
