Reassembly
Wrap threads with 3 - 3.5 turns of sealing
tape, tighten to the proper torque
Coat threads with anti-seize, tighten to
proper torque
Reattach with writing in the proper orientation
Replace with a new gasket only if warped or
damaged, do not apply anti-seize
Insert into body, being careful not to scratch its
polished surface
Coat threads with anti-seize, tighten to proper
torque
Replace with a new gasket only if warped or
damaged, do not apply anti-seize
Coat threads with anti-seize
Replace with a new gasket,
coat surfaces with anti-seize
Coat threads with anti-seize, tighten to proper
torque
Replace with a new gasket, apply anti-seize to
both sides
Insert closed end first so that the open end is at
the opening in the body
Coat threads with anti-seize, tighten to proper
torque
Replace with a new gasket only if warped or
damaged, do not apply anti-seize
Use appropriate pliers and insert the spring clip
into the slots in the X-element guide
Reinstall, making sure the X-element is not
upside down and without catching on the X-
element guide
Coat threads with anti-seize and tighten to the
proper torque
Fix with Valve Seat and make sure the X-element
can be inserted smoothly
Insert securely without bending
