Leak control
The VACUUM TEST procedure starts automatically
LEAK CONTROL
after the VACUUM procedure. This vacuum pressure
test procedure will persist on the A/C system for a
set test time. If the A/C system pressure increases,
the system will inform you of a possible leak in
the A/C system. The test duration is set in MENU
CONFIGURATION -> WORK CONFIGURATION->
VACUUM TEST.If the vacuum test time is set to zero,
the test will be ignored.
Oil injection
The OIL REFILL cycle restores a lack of oil in the A/C
OIL INJECTION
circuit that may occur following refrigerant recovery.
the amount of oil to be refilled can be set at the start
of fully automatic service, as well as before the refill
cycle. this SEMI-AUTOMATIC MODE allows you to
check the amount of oil drained after the previous
refrigerant recovery cycle, and set a corresponding
value to be refilled. This SEMI-AUTOMATIC MODE
allows you to check the amount of oil drained after
the previous refrigerant recovery cycle and set a
corresponding value to be refilled.Set the value to X
to obtain this mode. Example:- X means that the station will stop after the vacuum cycle and wait
for the user setting «0 g» means that the station will not charge oil «5 g» means that the station
will charge 5 g into the A/C system.Oil recharging is only possible if the A/C system is empty and
must be followed by a refrigerant charge.
Test recharge (YF models only)
This procedure performs a pre-charging test with
a reduced quantity of refrigerant (15% of the total
quantity) to exclude possible leaks. Once the
refrigerant has been charged, the unit checks the set
time and pressure stability, and when the test period
is over, the refrigerant is returned to the internal
reservoir to avoid any error in the accuracy of the
next refrigerant charging procedure. If it is possible to
carry out a pressure test with nitrogen (stress test),
the pre-charging cycle will not be necessary.
Coolant refill
The procedure charges the desired quantity of
refrigerant into the A/ C system. Any previous oil
and dye injection will be carried into the A/C system
by the refrigerant during this phase. The quantity
remaining in the pipes after the charging cycle is automatically calculated and recovered from the
reservoir. Only if the hose length setting has been set to «0», will the unit guide the user to start
the A/C system to recover the refrigerant residue left in the hoses in the internal reservoir.
