3.1 Conformity and approval
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare
that the unit TXS-862HT is in accordance with the
basic requirements and the other relevant regula-
tions of the directive 1999 / 5 / EC. The declaration
of conformity can be found on the Internet via
the home page of MONACOR INTERNATIONAL
(www.imgstageline.com).
This unit may be operated in the following coun-
tries:

In the Federal Republic of Germany, the transmitter
TXS-862HT requires a frequency assignment (for
which a charge is payable).
In other countries, it is necessary to apply for a cor-
responding approval. Prior to operating the system
outside Germany, please contact the MONACOR
subsidiary or the corresponding authorities of the
respective country. Links to the national authorities

4 Power Supply
For power supply, two 1.5 V batteries of size AA are
required.

Only insert two batteries of the same type and
always replace both of them.

If the transmitter is not in use for a longer period
of time, always remove the batteries to prevent
damage due to battery leakage.
Do not dispose of used batteries in the
household waste; always take them to a
special waste disposal, e. g. collection
container at your retailer.
1) Unscrew the sleeve (6) on the lower end of the
transmitter.
2) Slide the cover (7) of the battery compartment
(8) downwards and open it.
3) Insert the batteries with the positive and nega-
tive poles as indicated in the battery compart-
ment.
4) Close the cover, press it down on the batteries,
then slide it upwards to lock it.
5) Screw the sleeve on the transmitter again.
5 Operation
1) Before switching on the hand-held transmitter,
set the receiver unit to an interference-free
transmission frequency
of the receiver.
2) To switch on the transmitter, press the button
/
(2). The display (1) shows the group
(
, the channel of the group and a battery

)
symbol indicating the current battery status in
4 levels:
full
Each time you press a button, the display back-
light will be activated for a few seconds (green
in normal mode).
3) Via the REMOSET function, the transmitter is
automatically set to the transmission frequency
of the receiver unit. For correct operation, make
sure that
– the transmitter is not too far away from the
receiver (maximum range of REMOSET
transmission: 10 m)
– the automatic frequency matching for the
transmitter has been enabled
– the transmitter and the receiver unit have
been set to the same identification number

– the transmitter is not locked
Check the settings on the transmitter and
correct them, if necessary. Then activate the
REMOSET function on the receiver unit

frequency is matched, the display backlight on
the transmitter is blue. The display briefly shows
and the transmitter will be set to the
channel and the channel group of the receiver
unit.
Manual setting of the channel group and the
channel on the transmitter is also possible
chapter 5.1.1.
4) Speak / sing into the microphone. The display of
the receiver unit shows the volume level of the
microphone. To readjust it, change the sensitiv-
ity
chapter 5.1.2.
5) To mute the microphone for short interruptions,
press the button
muted, the display backlight is red. In this case,
the backlight is not extinguished automatically
but starts flashing after a few seconds.
To unmute the microphone, press the button
/
once again.
