3.8 Installation of the lever unit
Place the rubber wires protection (B) in the hole at the

bottom of flange (A1) and insert the wires of the trim, which
come out from the lever (A3), through it. Insert the lever in
neutral position (vertical) in the control box on the splined shaft
by guiding the cables towards the mechanism. Insert screw
(D) equipped with pin (E) and screw it by means of a 14 mm
wrench. Then, insert button (A4) in its seat on the lever hub by
pushing it until you hear a click. This procedure shall also
apply to lever models with kill switch.
CAUTION
Install the rubber cable shaft, it protects the cables from
any damage.
3.9 Clutch adjustment screw
Gain access to the clutch adjustment screw by means of a flathead

screwdriver. Turn the screw clockwise to increase the clutch,
counterclockwise to decrease it.
NOTICE
THE LEVER CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT MUST ALWAYS BE CARRIED OUT
WITH THE ENGINE OFF. THE LEVER MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE
FLANGE.
3.10 Installation of the trim cables
The TRIMs allow the position of the motors to be changed
by moving them up or down. The diagram aside shows
how to connect the three wires green (engine up), red
(common) and white (engine down).
NOTICE
For correct operation of the TRIM, carry out the following operations:
1) Before the engine is switched on, check that the electrical cables of the
TRIM have been correctly clamped near the foot of the mechanism
(making sure that they are not too tight, leaving sufficient length).
2) Wire the TRIM paying particular attention to the wiring diagrams and
connections.
3) Power the unit and check that the system is working correctly.
WARNING
Do not modify this switch in any way, as this may impair its proper
functioning. Incorrect use, unauthorised modifications or improper
installation of this safety device may result in serious injury or even death
to persons.
