14. Operation
Observe chapter 13 b) for the procedure when controlling the menus and changing settings.
In these operating instructions, the English designations in the OSD menu of the Internet radio
were used. If you select any other language for the system settings, observe the order of the
menus indicated or their designation.
a) Select Operating Mode
Briefly push the button „MODE" on the Internet radio (J) or IR remote control (6) to switch between the
following operating modes:
• Internet radio
• FM radio
• USB/Shared-media music player
b) Operating Mode: Internet Radio
If no WLAN connection is present yet at the start of operations (or if the WLAN password was not
accepted), the display will show a list of all available WLAN networks. Select the desired WLAN
network and enter the correct WLAN password.
The display shows 3 submenus:
1. Submenu „Last listened": List of last stations listened to
After selection and start of this submenu, the display will show the Internet radio stations that you have
listened to recently. The Internet radio will start playback when you select a station.
2. Submenu „Station List": Display of the available stations
After selecting and starting this submenu, the following station lists are available:
• „My Favourites"
To be able to use these functions, you need to log on to „Frontier Silicon Internet Radio". First,
you need an access code (see below under „Help"), then you need to register free of charge at
www.wifiradio-frontier.com.
After successful registration, you can generate your own list of favourites that is displayed in the Internet
radio.
Generation is only possible via a PC with web browser and not via the menu of the Internet radio.
The favourites list generated is then downloaded by the Internet radio.
