2. Intended Use

The Renkforce Internet radio IR-1600 is used to receive and play radio stations from the Internet (via
WLAN). Just as on a conventional tuner, FM radio stations can also be received, since there is an aerial
connection. A USB port can be used to play MP3-/WMA files (e.g. on a USB stick).
The low-level audio output signal must be transferred to an external amplifier. The device is not suited for
direct connection to loudspeakers.
Use is only permissible in dry, closed indoor areas. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.
The safety notes and all other information in these operating instructions always have to be observed!
Any use other than that described above can damage the product and may involve additional risks such as
short circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of this product must be modified or converted!
