LEGIONELLA FUNCTION
HOW TO USE THE LEGIONELLA FUNCTION:
New software version with the new legionella function.
(Version 1.58)
To check the software version you must go into installers menu, hold the
rotary button for some seconds and the software version will appear.
User menu:
use the rotary button to scroll to the legionella menu.
As factory setting the legionella function is set to "OFF".
User menu:
Press the rotary button until the text flashes and then rotate the button until
"ON" appears. Press the rotary button once and legionella will be activated.
The heat pump will heat up the water to 60 °C, +-1 °C in hysteresis by only
use of the compressor.
Note! If the heat pump is set to "HP + EL" the electrical heating element will turn
on if the water temperature is below Tmin, as factory setting this is 35 °C. If it is
above 35 °C the electrical heating element will go into standby mode and the LED
will turn orange.
Note! Legionella bacteria will die when the water temperature is above 50 ° C.
User menu:
Use the rotary button to scroll to "Status" menu and note that a user
information is shown "Le.Work". This tells that the legionella sequence is in
progress.
User menu:
In the "Water" status menu the user can see when the 60 °C, +-1 °C in
hysteresis has been reached and the upper LED turns orange for "standby"
mode.
Note! The legionella software will keep surveillance on the temperature for 1
hour and then it returns back to normal operating mode again. This function
applies only when the legionella sequence is activated through the user menu.
The legionella sequence will start automatically again after 14 days.
User menu:
When the legionella sequence have reached 60 °C, +-1 °C in hysteresis the
user can scroll to "Status" menu and see that the legionella sequence has
finished "Le.end". This information will stay visible until switching back to
normal operating mode.
