Please note that fast changes in light-
ing, e. g. flashing light, may trigger
epileptic seizures with photosensitive
persons or persons with epilepsy!
Connect the supplied mains cable to the mains jack
(11) first and then to a socket (230 V~ / 50 Hz). When
starting, the display (3) shortly shows
unit is ready for operation and can be operated via a
DMX light controller (

chapter 6). To switch off, disconnect the
mains plug from the socket.
Caution: The unit must not be connected to the mains
voltage via a dimmer!
For a more convenient operation it is recommended to
connect the unit to a socket which can be switched on
and off via a light switch.
5.1 Basic adjustments
The following basic adjustments can be made via the
display (3) and the operating buttons (5). For this pur-
pose press button MENU so many times until the
desired function is displayed. Then press button
ENTER. Make sure that the next button is pressed
within 15 seconds, otherwise the adjusting process will
end. The menu structure can be found on page 19.
Blackout mode on or off
Use button DOWN or UP to select:
The spotlight will only light up when a DMX
control signal is present at the jack DMX
INPUT (10). Once the DMX controller is
switched off, all LEDs will go out.
This adjustment must be selected for the oper-
ation without DMX controller.
To memorize, press button ENTER.
Display on or off
Use button DOWN or UP to select:
The display (3) will always be on.
The display will be switched off approx. 60 s
after pressing the last button. It will be switched
on again the next time a button is pressed.
To memorize, press button ENTER.
Text on the display turned by 180°
Use button DOWN or UP to select:
normal display

To memorize, press button ENTER.
15 seconds after pressing the last button, the adjusting
menu will be exited automatically. To exit immediately,
keep button MENU pressed until the display shows the
operating mode.

6 Operation without DMX Controller
When no DMX control signal is present at the jack
DMX INPUT (10), the yellow LED MASTER (4) will
light up, the display (3) will show the function adjusted
and the unit will automatically operate according to the
show programme selected. For this purpose, the
Blackout function must be deactivated,
6.1 Selecting a function
When selecting a function, make sure that the next
control button (5) is pressed within 15 seconds, other-
wise the adjusting process will end and the unit will
return to the previous function. The menu structure can
be found on page 19.
6.1.1 Show programmes
12 colour change programmes (indication Sh = Show)
and 16 colour transition programmes (indication Ch =
Chase) can be selected. In addition, there is programme
Sh 0 which allows the unit to run successively through
the colour change programmes Sh 1 – 12, and pro-
gramme
which allows the unit to run successively
through the colour transition programmes Ch 1 – 16.
1) To select a colour change programme, press button
MENU (5) so many times until the display (3) shows

play shows the number of the adjusted programme.

Note: For programme No. 0, no running speed can be
selected. 15 seconds after pressing button ENTER the
programme will start.
4) Use button DOWN or UP within 15 seconds to
adjust the desired running speed. The unit will
switch to this speed when no music control exists
[with the music control switched off (
music intervals, or when the volume is too low].
Confirm the adjustment with button ENTER. The
display returns to the indication of the programme.
After 15 seconds the flashing stops and the
selected programme starts. The yellow LED MAS-
TER (4) lights up. For a quicker start of the pro-
gramme keep button MENU pressed until the pro-
gramme number is displayed.
5) For music control of the colour change programmes
Sh 1 – Sh12 (the other programmes cannot be music-
controlled), the music control must be switched on:
a) Press button MENU so many times until
displayed.
