Emergency Battery Backup Strap
For emergency use only, in case of a power outage. Batteries are not to be used for normal operation of the bed.
Two (2) 9 Volt alkaline batteries are required to operate the power down feature and are NOT included.
STEP 1
Disconnect the Power Supply from the input power cord.
STEP 2
Connect the Battery Backup Strap to the (2) 9 Volt Alkaline
batteries. Do not mix brand name Batteries.

STEP 3
Connect the end of the Battery Backup Strap to the input power
cord that is attached to the control box.

STEP 4
Use the remote control to lower the base to flat.
Note: Detach the Battery Backup Strap after the emergency is
over, as the system will continue to draw power from the batteries
even if not in use.
