3.3 Fresh air intake connection
In order to ensure a good performance and a good temperature distribution, the stove must be installed in a
place where the amount of air necessary for combustion reaches it, according to the installation standards and
rules of each country. (The possibility of air inlets or connections to external areas should be evaluated).
The air should enter through permanent wall openings (next to the stove) towards the exterior with a section of
minimum 100 cm². Ensure that there are no objects obstructing these openings.
The air can be recovered from adjacent rooms or by free and permanent external intake.
The permanent openings must meet the criteria described•
Do not use the stove in the bedroom, the bathroom or in a place where there is a risk of fire: garage, firewood
storage, storage of flammable material, or exercise an activity with risk of fire around this area.
The fresh air intake for the combustion must be connected directly to the exterior side of the building, where
other heat generators are placed.
EXAMPLE OF THE FRESH AIR INTAKE CONNECTION FOR THE COMBUSTION
With the goal of guaranteeing a proper functioning of the stove, it is possible to connect the intake air pipe directly to the
external area, using a steel tube with Ø40mm diameter section, and equipped with silicone joints. A 90º angle pipe from the
base will guarantee the air for the combustion making sure that there is not any obstruction.
Ecomasa World Investments. reject any responsibilities for malfunctioning of the stove in the case of
not following the installation manual. All related damages will not be covered by the guarantee.
