Loading the log with lifting device (for big or heavy logs)
Loosen the retaining hooks on the log lifting device so that the lifting rod can move freely.
Move the splitting knife (wedge) down until the log lifting device completely rests on the ground.
Roll the log onto the lifting device (the log must be in the area between the two teeth / tips).
Press the return bracket down or the two operating handles upwards and let the splitting knife (wedge)
go up. (CAUTION! Do NOT stay and do NOT allow anyone to stay in the work area of the log lifting
device! Risk of injury!)
As the splitting knife (wedge) goes up, the chain will lift the lifting device and log.
Hold log to ensure it will not roll out of the lifting device.
Once log is standing upwards, set the log in position for splitting.
Split the log, remove split wood, and thus the log lifting device can be lowered down again to load a
new log.
REMARK about the log lifting device:
When the log lifting device is not in use, it acts as a
second protective retaining arm.
To this end, the lifting device must be raised until it its
side bar (c) latches in the retaining hook (g).
Transport position of the log lifting device:
The log lifting device must be raised and locked during
transport.
Hold the lifting device main bar (13) and raise it until the
side bar (c) latches in the retaining hook (g).

5.5- Starting the log splitter
Open the protective cap (C).
Switch ON (I): Press the green button (B).
Switch Off (O): Press the red button (A).
When the protective cap (C) is closed, press the
emergency stop button (D) in the event of an
emergency.
Never use the machine if the ON/OFF switch is not working properly.
Immediately have any damaged switch repaired or replaced by qualified personnel to avoid a danger.
In case of power failure:
The equipment will switch off automatically in the event of a power failure, accidental removal of the
plug or if a fuse has triggered. Press the green button (B) to restart the machine.
