IV. GETTING STARTED
4.1- Unpacking
We recommend that at least 2 persons unpack the log splitter package
Remove product from its packaging.
Check that product and accessories are not damaged.
4.2- Assembly
For packing reasons, the machine is not completely assembled and therefore requires some assembly
from the user.
Wheels assembly
Insert wheel axle (B) through the holes on the oil
tank.
Then, mount a wheel (2) on each side of the axle
and secure with a cotter pin (A).
Slightly bend the cotter pin to prevent it from
falling out.
Control handles assembly
- Put LEFT handle (6) arm in its position:
insert arm's orifice onto protruding stud (c) on
side of main column.
- Lock with the washer (b) and cotter pin (d)
- Then fix with provided screw (a).
- Repeat above assembly steps to the RIGHT
operating handle (9).
- Make sure to check & tighten screw after
assembly.
- The side view below will allow you to visualize
the position of the washer, cotter pin and of the
screw.
Side retaining arm assembly
- Put LEFT bottom arm in its position: insert arm's
tube (A) into the holding bracket (B).
- Insert 2 bolts (C) and fix it on the other side with
2 nuts (D).
- Repeat above assembly steps to mount LEFT
upper arm.
- Make sure to tighten all nuts and bolts after
retaining arm assembly.
