- Use a torque wrench to tighten the screws to 8 Nm
(71 in.lbs) for Ekar and to 10 Nm (88 in.lbs) for Ekar GT
(Fig. 11).
Attention! The Ekar and Ekar GT screws are not
interchangeable. Use Ekar screws only for Ekar
chainrings and cranksets, and Ekar GT screws only for
Ekar GT chainrings and cranksets.
- Push the rocker downwards to reduce the chain
tension and reposition the chain on the chainring
(Fig. 12).
The correct chain length must be recalculated if
the number of teeth on the new chainring is 6 teeth
more or less than on the old one (from 38 to 44
teeth or vice versa). If the change in the number of
teeth is less than 6, then the chain length does not
need to be altered.
