The RA TTW 4000 adjusting device is used in automated applications together

with the Robacta TTW 4000 TIG robot welding torch. Using the adjusting device,
one or more replacement torch heads can be prepared so that they all display
exactly the same tungsten electrode position. Preparing the replacement torch
heads in advance reduces the length of time it takes to replace them.

Depending on the application, configure one torch head as a model:
- adjust tungsten electrode
- select suitable gas nozzle

The RA TTW 4000 adjusting device is
for the precise adjustment of the
tungsten electrode on the Robacta
TTW 4000 TIG robot welding torch
head. A specified tightening torque en-
sures that the tungsten electrode is in
its optimum position. The tightening
torque is engraved on the adjusting de-
vice.
The RA TTW 4000 adjusting device
can be used with gas nozzle of all
lengths.
Lock the adjusting mandrel (1)

IMPORTANT! Risk of damage to
tungsten electrode if threaded rod
(4) is overtightened. Do not turn
the threaded rod (4) any further
once it comes into contact with the
tungsten electrode.
Adjust the length of the adjusting

device by turning the threaded rod

Fasten the guide block (2) using

hexagon nut (3)
Unlock the adjusting mandrel (1)

Unscrew the model torch head
