M-BUS NETWORK CONNECTION
The inputs/outputs "M-Bus" (24 and 25) are dedicated to the meter connection with an M-Bus network
cable.
For the connection is not necessary to respect the polarity, although it is advisable to keep the same
polarity on the entire cable network.
Warning: the M-Bus network is using voltage that can damage the device when applied to terminals
dedicated to other functions, so be careful when connecting to this interface.
Note: there is a maximum number of MBUS queries by default, which is set at 4 (four) per day. This will
protect the device from excessive MBUS transmissions, which could drastically reduce the battery life.
If the maximum reading limit is reached, the meter will stop communicating via MBUS and will start
again only from the next day.
If it is necessary to communicate via MBUS with the device for more than 4 times (for example, during
the commissioning phases), it will still be possible to temporarily unlock the device. To do this, it will be
necessary to press the two buttons T1 and T2 for at least 10 seconds. This will increase the maximum
threshold to 100 (one hundred) transmissions.
At midnight of the same day, the maximum block of 4 MBUS queries will be automatically restored.
PULSE OUTPUT CONNECTIONS
The meter is equipped with an Open-Collector pulse output (30V):
- heating units output: ENERGY OUT (16, 17)
These outputs can be connected to a compatible totalizer or to a signal converter.
