Commissioning
Please note
S Take into account the fact that, depend
ing on the design, feed force F of the
HME−... diminishes in the end positions
of stroke I (approx. 5 ... 40 % of the
feed force).
The peak feed force (C) thereby diminis
hes more than the constant feed force
(D) (see catalogue specifications).
Carry out commissioning in one of the following ways:
S
on the control panel of controller SFC−LAC−... in accordance with the manual
or
with the Festo Configuration Tool (FCT) and its help system on your PC.
Please observe in particular the following points:
Parametrizing
Software end positions
Reference travel
1. Start a test run.
2. Check whether the settings on the HME−.../SFC−LAC−... need to be modified.
Differing positioning accuracy or overswing of the system can possibly have
the following causes:
additional mass too high
dynamics too high
mechanical structure tends to vibrate
incorrect parametrizing on the SFC−LAC−...
resistance to shifting too high (stress with fitting/plug−in parts).
3. If necessary, repeat the test run.
When all necessary corrections have been undertaken:
4. Conclude the test run.
5. Check the settings of the test run in continuous operation.
In order to do this, you must extend the test run of the HME−... until it reaches
the thermic steady state (see display of the motor temperature in the
SFC−LAC−...).
