Fitting the electric components

Please note
Strong magnetic fields in the immediate vicinity of the linear module (e.g. with
welding systems) will cause permanent magnetization of the ferromagnetic
parts. As a result, the switching points of the proximity switches will be perma
nently shifted or the magnetically coded measuring tape 9 will lose its prop
erties.
S Make sure that the HME−... is screened against strong electromagnetic
interference (e,g, with a transformer plate).
S Avoid external influence caused by magnetic or ferritic parts in the vicinity of
the reference switch and the sensor measurng system.
Please note
S Take into account the warnings and instructions on fitting the electric compo
nents (e.g. for the EMERGENCY STOP circuit) in the manual for the controller
type SFC−LAC−...
Protecting the end positions against uncontrolled overrunning:
Take into consideration the fact that software end positions must be set in the
S
SFC−LAC−...
Make sure that controller type SFC−LAC is switched off.
S
It is not sufficient just to cancel the enable signal to the controller.
Wire the HME−... at connection aD
S
completely with the controller
(compare Fig. 14).
Additional earthing of the HME−... is
not necessary.
Use the original connecting cable from
S
Festo in accordance with the chapter
