Installing and Removing the Infant Car Seat with the Base
3. Rotate Adapter to Boarding Position
(see pgs. 32-33) and, while holding the
Base with one hand, push button on Belt
Tensioner Handle and pull open.
4. Extend the LATCH/UAS Straps to their
longest length, making sure the straps lie
flat and are not twisted.
5. Push the LATCH/UAS Connectors onto the
vehicle lower anchor bars on both sides of
the Base until you hear them CLICK, then
CHECK to make sure they are securely
attached by pulling on them.

vehicle lower anchors may
be difficult to reach, you may
obtain LATCH/UAS Guides by
