Automatic cleaning
The shower rod is cleaned automatically before and after each use.
Manual cleaning
There are 2 possibilities to start a cleaning cycle of the shower rod and nozzles:
• Sitting on the seat, presence sensor activated, pressing
• Not seated: pressing
soaked in white vinegar, very gently rubbing the water outlet jets. Press the Stop button to retract the shower rod.
6.1.2 Cleaning the lid, seat and controls
On a weekly basis, use a soft cloth to clean the controls, lid and washing toilet seat.
For more extensive cleaning of the seat and lid, unclip the washing seat:
- Press the button (see attached leaflet) then pull the seat towards you.
- You can then clean it with a damp sponge.
6.2 MAINTENANCE
Filter replacement
The filter should be replaced every 6 to 18 months, depending on how hard the water is. The filter is avalaible under reference Saniseat-999.
Descaling
IMPORTANT
Reserved for qualified professionals.
If the filter is not replaced frequently enough, lime scale will build up in the nozzles.
Procedure for descaling the nozzles and the cover over them:
1. Turn off the water supply.
2. To drain the tank, start cleaning the hand shower by pressing
If the method has worked, go on to step 4. If not, continue with step 3:
4. UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE.
5. Unclip the flap.
6. Keep the flap horizontal and slide it towards you to remove it from the frame.
7. Turn the seat over. Put screw A back. Do not overtighten: risk of breaking the screw.
8. Unscrew screws B.
9. Release the clips C and remove the cover. Be careful not to pull too hard on the electric wires to avoid disconnecting or damaging
them.
10. Disconnect the water hose D from the shower rod E.
11. Unscrew screws F.
12. Remove nozzle cover G.
13. Pull gently on the shower rod.
14. Soak the end of the shower head (with the water drainage holes) and the G nozzle cover in a glass filled with white vinegar.
15. Leave 2 h to take effect.
16. Once the nozzles and bonnet have been cleaned of lime scale (clear water drain holes), rinse them with clean water to remove the
vinegar.
17. Reassemble the appliance in reverse order. Important: when refitting screw A, do not overtighten to avoid breaking it.

3. If the appliance does not start the function and emits a triple beep when a button is
pressed, drain the tank directly:
• UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE.
• Unclip the flap.
• Keep the flap horizontal and slide it towards you to remove it from the frame.
• Hold the flap horizontal and unscrew screw A. When the water has finished running, go on
to step 7.
(Nozzles cleaning button) starts rinsing the shower rod and nozzles.
until no more water flows out.
Do not turn the appliance over when doing this. Risk of water spilling into the
electrical part of the appliance.
