•Allow the filter to dry.
•Once dry, moisten it with 2 drops of oil (If you wet the filter with too much oil the machine may
not start).
•Install the filter on the machine.
•Put on the protective cap.
Note: The engine should never run without the air filter installed.
7.2.2. ENGINE OIL CHANGE
Carry out the oil change only with the engine still warm from running.
ATTENTION! Old oil must not be disposed of into the pipe network or into the earth. Groundwater
and groundwater pollution is subject to heavy penalties. At gas stations there are special pick-up
locations. If not, any municipal authority will give you the relevant information. Note: You have two
procedures for draining the engine oil. You can empty the oil by unscrewing the drain screw (Y2)
located at the base of the filling duct.
To change the oil:
Place the machine on a flat, horizontal, uncluttered surface.
Empty used engine oil:
K) If you suck used oil: Remove the engine oil filler cap (Y1) and suck the engine oil by
inserting the oil vacuum tube through the filler tube.
L) If you decide to empty through the drain plug (Y2) take into account the path that the oil
will make when falling into the chassis to place a large container that collects all the oil
before falling to the ground. We recommend that you put a large plastic covering the area
where you are going to perform the oil change to prevent the oil from falling on the ground
in case the oil path is not as planned. Once the working area is prepared, remove the
filler cap (Y1) and remove the oil drain cap (Y2) and slightly tip the machine so that the
oil comes out and falls into the container.
Once all the oil has been emptied, put the drain cap back into the machine. Empty the engine oil
into a suitable container where you can take it to the clean point.
