to improve ventilation and do not return to work in the area unless you have properly ventilated
the area and are clear that the ventilation is sufficient to prevent this concentration from occurring
again.
The area within a radius of 24 metres around the machinery must be regarded as a risk area into
which no one must enter while the machinery is in motion (safety zone). When necessary, use
ropes and warning signs to mark the safety zone.
Keep children away and curious while operating this machine. Distractions can cause you to lose
control. Make sure that no children, people or animals enter your work area.
When work must be performed simultaneously by two or more people, always check the presence
and location of each other in order to maintain a sufficient distance between each person to
ensure safety.
Do not use this machine at night, in fog or with reduced visibility that does not allow you to see
the work area clearly.
Keep the work area clean and work with good lighting. Cluttered and dark areas lead to accidents.
2.4. SAFETY IN THE USE OF FUELS
IMPORTANT: The fuel used for this machine is highly flammable. If the fuel or machine ignites,
extinguish the fire with a dry powder extinguisher. Gasoline and oil are dangerous, avoid contact
of gasoline or oil with skin and eyes. Do not inhale or swallow them. In case of ingesting fuel and
/ or oil go quickly to your doctor. If you come into contact with fuel or oil, clean yourself with plenty
of soap and water as soon as possible, if your eyes or skin are irritated afterwards, consult a
doctor immediately.
Do not refuel indoors or poorly ventilated. Fuel vapors and oil contain hazardous chemicals. In
case of a concentration of gases caused by insufficient ventilation, remove from the area anything
that impedes the flow of clean air to improve ventilation and do not return to the area unless you
have properly ventilated the area and are clear that ventilation is sufficient so that this
concentration does not occur again. Gasoline and oil are extremely flammable and explosive
under certain conditions.
Do not smoke and do not bring flames, sparks or heat sources close to the machine. Do not
smoke while transporting fuel, refilling the tank, or while working.
Do not refuel in places where flames, sparks or intense sources of heat are present. Always refill
the tank in well-ventilated areas with the engine stopped. Do not overflow the fuel by trying to
overfill the fuel tank. In case of fuel leakage be sure to eliminate these leaks completely before
starting, move the machine away from the spill area and avoid any source of ignition until the
vapors have dissipated.
Add fuel before starting the machine using a drum with elastic hose. Never remove the fuel cap
while the engine is running or when the machine is hot.
Make sure the gas cap is properly closed while using the machine. Be sure to close the gas cap
properly after refueling. Always store fuel in approved containers that comply with European
regulations.
2.5 USE AND CARE OF THIS MACHINE
The bioshredder is designed only for crushing pieces of green wood with a maximum diameter of
10 cm. It is forbidden to crush in the machine any other material (for example, metal, stones,
plastics, or any other material). If you want to crush roots, remove sand, soil, stones or other
debris. Any use other than that described above exempts the manufacturer from all liability.
Verify that all security features are installed and in good condition.
