Operator Requirements
The operator is required to read the instruction manual
carefully before using the unit.
Qualification
No special qualification is required except for detailed
briefing by a specialist.
Minimum Age
The unit shall be operated by persons above 16 years
of age. Operation by juvenile operators is an
exception, if it is as a part of professional training
under supervision of a teacher with an aim to obtain
skills.

Training
The unit operation requires an adequate briefing. No
special training is required.
General Safety Instructions
The instruction manual should be read in full prior to
the initial use. In case of any doubts regarding
connection and operation of the unit, turn to the
manufacturer (servicing department).
TO GUARANTEE A HIGH DEGREE OF SAFETY,
THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW SHOULD BE
OBSERVED:
CAUTION!
•
Before any job like cleaning or repair, unplug the
machine.
•
Wear heavy duty footwear or antiskid boots when
working with the machine.
•
Before getting down to work, check the
surrounding area to see that it is clean. Remove
any objects that could get tangled in the machine
or thrown off. .
•
Do not use the machine in rainy weather or in
damp conditions.
•
At the beginning of work always check the
machine and electrical connection for damages.
Only machine in perfect condition may be put in
operation.
•
During any work with the machine, no other
persons, children and animals in particular should
be allowed within the reach.
•
Never leave the machine unattended. After
finishing the work and during the breaks, unplug
the cable.
•
Be particular about lighting, whether daylight or
artificial.
•
Any time when removing the collection bag, wait
until the motor comes to standstill.
•
Keep away from the rotating parts.
•
Take notice of the extension cable being
sufficiently away from cutting tools.
•
Always wear goggles and ear protectors when
working with the machine.
•
Use a cable approved for outdoor use only.
Always work with the machine connected to the
mains via a protection safety automatic switch (FI)!
Emergency Procedures
Give first aid appropriate to the injury and call a
qualified medical help as fast as possible.
Protect the injured against more harm and put him/her
in a resting position.
Use in Compliance with Determination The mower is
designed exclusively for mowing grass surfaces.
Take care not to overload the mower by mowing grass
that is too long or wet. If the mower refuses to work
because of the cut being set up too low, the lawn has
to be cut with a higher cut set-up.
