Remove Under Body Panels:
• To remove the driver side under body panel, remove 5 push pins using a flat head screwdriver and remove 1 plastic nut using a 15mm socket (using a little force pull downward on
the trim panel to help remove the plastic nut)
• To remove the center under body panel panel, remove 4 push pins using a flat head screwdriver and remove 1 plastic nuts using a 15mm socket (using a little force pull downward
on the trim panel to help remove the plastic nut) and 2 nuts with a 12mm socket

Remove Taillights: (Typical Both Sides) Remove the access panel inside the trunk. Inside the access hole remove 2 nuts (4 total) using a 10mm socket. Unclip the wire harness from
inside the access hole. Slide the taillight rearward to remove.
3.
Remove the Fascia:
• (Typical Both Sides) Remove 3 screws with a Philips Head Screwdriver from the wheel well (6 total). Remove 1 bolt with an 8mm socket from the wheel well (2 total). Remove 1
screw (2 total) and 1 push pin (2 total) by the taillight. Remove 2 bumper bolts (Korean built M8 or USA built M10, 4 total) from the forward side of the rear bulkhead. (Bumper is
attached to the fascia)
• (Driver Side) Remove 1 push pin (1 total) on the bottom of the fascia by the wheel well.
• (Passenger Side) Remove 2 push pin (2 total) on the bottom of the fascia by the wheel well.
• Start in the wheel wells and gently pull on the fascia to unclip it from the mounting tabs. Using the plastic trim tools and tape in the area of tool use (to prevent scratching) may
help in the removal of the fascia. Place the fascia in a safe location to reinstall later.
4.
Lower Exhaust: Ensure the exhaust is supported prior to lowering. Using an exhaust hanger removal tool remove the rubber isolators from the hangers to lower the exhaust.
5.
Trim:
• Fascia: (Use figure 3 as a guide) From the centerline of the fascia measure and mark a section 2.5" each direction and 3.75" from the bottom forward edge of the fascia. Trim off
the section that is marked.
• Center Under Body Panel: (Use figure 3 as a guide) From the centerline of the fascia measure and mark a section 2.5" each direction and 1" from the bottom rearward edge of the
fascia. Trim off the section that is marked.
• Driver Side Under Body Panel: (Refer to figure 4) Trim off the forward most frame attachment as needed.
6.
Reinstall Fascia, Taillights: Reversing steps 2 to 3 raise and secure the fascia and taillights into place.
7.
Fish Wire Passenger Side: Attach items
8.
Raise the Hitch into Position: (Fasteners Typical Both Sides) Be sure to feed the fish wire through the hitch attachment point while raising the hitch into position.
• USA built models: Secure hitch to vehicle using supplied 10mm bolts, item

9.
Driver Side Drill & Fish Wire & Hardware Attachment:
• Using the hitch as your guide drill a 1/2" hole into the driver side frame.

10. Torque Hardware:
• USA built models: Torque all 10mm bolts to 42 Lb-Ft (57N*M) and all 7/16" fasteners to 50 Lb-Ft (68 N*M)
• Korean built models: Torque all 8mm bolts to 27 Lb-Ft (37N*M) and all 7/16" fasteners to 50 Lb-Ft (68 N*M)
11. Reinstall Under Body Panels and Reinstall Exhaust: Reversing step 1 reinstall the under-body panels. Push the rubber isolator back onto the exhaust hanger.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged
should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for
connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
