Lightly pull on the cable to keep it straight, then tighten the two nuts on
either side of the bracket with a wrench.

Slide the rubber part over the bolt end to prevent water from entering.
9.
Loose the screws on the side of the gas tank and add the cable support
brackets.
10. Clip the chute deflection cable into the supports and fasten.
