1.
5.
Pour nettoyer le plateau et en cas de petites rayures, utilisez un chiffon doux imbibé de cire d'abeille;
Marble features / maintenance / stop stain treatment
The marble is a natural material that has a great decorative richness. It is very compact and has high
mechanical strength, but has the drawback of being porous: all marbles have holes or cracks.
To reinforce them, a mesh is applied to the lower face of the top to increase the cohesion of the material.
Marble is particularly sensitive to products with a PH lower than 7, such as vinegar, wine, lemon and some
scents and essences that are part of the composition of personal and home hygiene products.
To try to solve this problem, a paint has been applied to the top, which guarantees for a maximum of 24 hours
that the products mentioned above do not damage the top.
The paint is applied by spraying and micro holes may remain in the top due to the porosity of the marble.
1.
Prevent the top from being hit by blunt objects, pots, knives, utensils, bottles etc ... which would cause
the marble to chip and damage the protective paint.
2.
Do not to place hot objects on the top.
3.
Keep the top at maximum temperatures between -20°C/+50°C and at a humidity level below 40°.
4.
The storage and transport of the top must strictly take place in a closed place, at the temperatures and
humidity levels described above.
5.
To clean the top and in case of minor scratches, use a soft cloth moistened with beeswax; do not use
chemical products as they could damage the paint on the top.
6.
The top must be treated with daily cleaning of the surface with a DRY MICROFIBER CLOTH.
7.
Do not expose the top continuously to sunlight as the protective treatment could turn yellow.
8.
For indoor use only.
9.
The top can have small entrances in correspondence with the natural veins of the marble which can
sometimes cause a slight decrease in the protective varnish.
