10. Security Functions
a) After 3-10 incorrect inputs (can be selected by choice) the system is automatically
blocked or raises the alarm.
b) If the door is forced open the system automatically raises the buzzer sound.
c) If the door is open for a longer period than is set in the door opening times, the alarm
signal sounds in order to remind you that the door is still open.
d) If the tamper switching is activated the system sends the following warning signals:
The yellow LED flashes and the buzzer sends constant beep tones. When the tamper
switching is deactivated the acoustic and optical warning signals are stopped. The
tamper switching output can also be connected to a security system.
11. Resetting to the Factory Master Code
If the master code is lost it is possible to reset the factory master code setting (which is
1234) using the "DAP" jumper.
For this purpose, proceed as follows:
• Remove the power supply from the code lock.
• Move the jumper "DAP" from the OFF position to the ON position.
• Connect the operating voltage again. The yellow status LED "STATUS" (3) flashes
and the internal signalling device emits a constant signal tone.
• Move the jumper "DAP" from the ON position to the OFF position. The yellow status
LED "STATUS" (3) stops flashing and the internal signalling device stops emitting the
signal tone.
• The master code has been reset to the factory setting 1234. All other settings are
retained.
